Turritella Agate Electroform Pendant

Stone is a Turritella Agate.

Turritella Agate is a brown stone that contains fossils that are various shades of brown, black, and white. These fossils are the remains of ancient snails.

Turritella Agate was formed around 50 million years ago!

Electroforming creates a one of a kind, unique piece.  No two pieces are ever alike.  This is a slow process ranging from 12-48 hours, it deposits copper particles onto organic and inorganic pieces. After coming out of the bath each piece is hand polished, antiqued and re-polished.

Pendant includes a 24” cotton cord necklace with lobster clasp closure.

These have been sealed to help prevent tarnishing. Please note that copper naturally darkens with age and if necessary may be cleaned with provided polishing cloth to restore color/shine.
